General Functional Guide
A built-in direction sensor automatically calculates the direction to Makah using data about your current location. You also get automatic calculation of the five prayer times in accordance with the position of the sun.
Determining Qibla
The prayer Compass comes pre-programmed with geographical data for 30 metropolitan areas. With a preset area, simply input the code for your location and press a button and the compass points the way to Makkah. For areas that are not pre-programmed, just input the GMT differential, longitude, latitude and directional variation manually. This means you can use the prayer Compass virtually anywhere around the world to determine the direction to Makkah.
Prayer Time Search Function
Select one of the 30 preset codes and the prayer Compass automatically calculates the five prayer times for each day. Each city code is programmed to calculate prayer times in accordance with standard practice in the country or geographic area. You can edit the preset data to adapt it to your special needs and you can even set prayer times alarms that signal you when it's time to pray.
